Media Blitz

Planning on moving posts from other social media over here, and getting rid of those accounts. Sort of a media blitz. Also planning on making this multi-layered with some open and some non-open posts, just for shits and giggles.

Last Day of Tour

From Instagram…

You know what Mike Richter always says, “last day of tour is always the last day of tour.” Had the pleasure of spending last six weeks with Wallows on the model tour. Couldn’t have done it without Patrick, Dom, Angela, Greek, Nevins, Karaba, Alessandra, Colton, Chris, Matty, Mike Nelson, Dave/Ben/Sandy/ Bella from 8th Day, Brad/Ben/Emma/Sean from Christie, Mike Jones Kelly Green, Natalie Lei, Truax, Cloudy, Mac/Jerrod Thanks for my favorite bus driver Jaime Hardaway, and Kyle, Gary, & Luke from Encore for getting their safely. and Sequoia, Christophe, Cosimo, Melvin, and Louis for getting our stuff there on time.

Biggest tour I’ve tour managed. Amazing how many people it takes to put on a show and how good it feels when the show starts. Gear is all back where it goes and I’m heading home to Amanda and Snacks

Back to life…

back to reality…

Good morning…

The view out my window this morning in Philadelphia.

Good Morning Philly. #viewoutmywindow (at Philadelphia, PA)

Spending some time this morning going over the Electoral maps. It really does look like Obama barely won when you look at this map.

But  Mark Newman (Department of Physics and Center for the Study of Complex Systems, University of Michigan) has spent some time morphing the maps to match population, electoral college votes, county results, and I think most telling is this map which has shades of purple based on the Dem v Rep voting on a map altered by population. The country is not as divided as it sometimes seems.

‎”We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are and forever will be the United States of America.” – Barack Obama

Steak Salad

Lunch for Amanda today was mostly “left-overs”.  Roasted Beets from Wednesday. Cauliflower from Tuesday. Steak and Peppers from Wednesday, mixed with some greens from our EarthBox, which has been very neglected the last few weeks, but is still doing great.  Add to that some Craisins and Carrots, and it was an easy Thursday Lunch.

Lunch for Amanda. Roasted Beets and Cauliflower. Baby Carrots and Craisins. Arugula from our EarthBox with Grilled Steak and Red Peppers. Cut up Honey Crisp Apple is out of the shot. #planetbox #iwanttobeahousehusband

Post-election Bliss

Lunch for Amanda, she left the Planetbox at work, so it had to be in Tupperware. It is not as much fun to pack the lunch when the I don’t have the Planetbox, not sure why. Grilled steak and peppers, not as rare in person as it looks in the photo. Large pieces of cucumbers cut into flower shapes. roasted beets.  Man, I love roasted beets.

Lunch for Amanda. Tri-tip steak and peppers. Cucumbers. Roast Beets. Always a bummer when the #planetbox gets left at work. #iwanttobeahousehusband

Bacon got some dog soup. I cooked some zucchini with chicken thighs. Took the chicken out and blended the zucchini into a soup, added back the chicken with some cucumbers and celery for crunch. Served with some dry food, she was very happy.

Bacon got up early for some dog soup.

One of the best things about the changing season is GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES. Amanda made me a whole plate of mini grilled cheese sandwiches and some Tomato Soup!!!!

Grilled cheese and tequila. My wife loves me.
