good morning…

 

Some days I write that and it isn’t true, it isn’t that good of a morning, but today it is.  I feel energized and excited about the year that lays in front of me.  I love that I get to have a 1, 2 punch of starting points to my new year.  We all get January 1 to start our new year, but right behind that, I get my birthday, which today sees me turning 35.  I always thought that I would run for president as soon as I turned 35, since I finally could, but doesn’t seem as funny now that I am 35.  Maybe I will look into running in Washington at least.  Anyone know how to do that?  I am again in love with my house, got 3 of the 4 cameras back up and running, so I can spy on it from anywhere in the country, or world.

 

I am into the fact that I am sitting at the new counter that I built, it is a great place to sit in the morning and drink coffee and work on my blog.  It was so much fun to be able to be in the kitchen cooking while people were in the living room at the Pajama Jammy Jam, and we were still able to talk.  Thanks El Dorado, you are really behaving yourself.  Let’s see what you think of having lights and a new stove this year.  The new kitchen is on the agenda for January, I can’t wait to get this thing put in.

If anyone has any experience with a gas range / electric convection oven slide-in unit with a built-in downdraft ventilation system, please let me know, it is hard to get any reviews online.

Chad has been really going crazy for this band, and I have to admit, they are worthy of worship.  Check out Mudslide.

I just updated the Pepe page, so there is more of current archive.  I am going to do my best to keep the archive up-to-date as this year goes along, but I can’t promise anything.  I am also going to do my best to keep my food blog current.  Going to Veil tonight, will let you know how it is.  Pepe’s sister is very emotional when it comes to television.  You should see her during those phone commercials.
