Ceasar’s Palace
GOOD MORNING…
That was Chopper making the routing for today’s adventure. But first we had an hour adventure trying to shove a bus (10 pounds of shit) into the venue parking space (1 pound bag). Then the walk to the Coliseum began.
I love how old this trolley is. I wish Sound Transit was like disneyland and they made all the trains look old-timey.
And then just around a corner, Basilica of St. John.
This town has nuns all over the place. It is kind of like gig bags in Austin.
Across the street, I have no idea what it was, but it was beautiful, of course.
They really wanted to keep me out of this corner. I think this is where they got the idea of Dirty Dancing.
St. John’s was about 1/10 the size of St. Peter’s but the doors were at least 3 times as big.
Again, words can not really describe.
Along the backside.
Oh and there are almost as many priests walking around Rome.
This building is just built into an ancient roman wall. I mean what the f.
Another cute bus.
Walking to the Coliseum.
There are fountains like this all over Rome. The stone drain was probably worn way 4 or 5 inches in the center.
Around a corner and there is the largest ancient building I have ever seen.
And once again, eating in the shadow of a behemoth.
We ordered this special appitizer without looking at the menu. Guess the price.
Higher. Higher, Higher. Higher. Lower. Just right. €75.00. Choppers Spaghetti with Clams.
I had Gnochi with meat sauce.
Chopper and Heather in front of the Coliseum.
I mean, come on.
This is the sites of the ancient Roman Foros.
And this isn’t but looks like, Ceasar’s Palace. It is crazy to see this stuff for real. I will never be impressed in vegas again.
Chopper took this one the night before. I mean it is Ceasar’s Palace.
One of the alleys by the venue that we tried to squeeze the bus thru. Ancient wall just blocking the alley.
