the best chapters

Good Morning…

All I wanted to do today was go play poker during the day and then go eat dinner with Amanda.  I wore my new white Adidas running suit that Amanda gave me.  To finish it off, the white shoes that Amanda gave me last year for my birthday.  Remember, they said GABE on the back.  Well they brought me “luck” and I started the year off with some winnings.  I did not however try and play with my sunglasses on, I feel like a jackass when I try.

Neither of us brought a camera to Poppy for dinner.  It was ok, some of it was great, some of it was not.  This is a salad at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

I haven’t been here in probably 20 years, and while I don’t remember the inside, I am sure it is the same.

And I think the prices were too.  Drinks, apps, dinner, dessert, all for around $25 for two people.  You can’t go wrong.

And I like when you can get all the sauces on one plate of pasta.  No pretentiousness here.
