Introducing Bacon Deathstar

Good Morning…

Dann and Julia found this cute little pit bull puppy.

I couldn’t take it so they took her to the pound. I then went and got here, even though I couldn’t keep her.  She had a good time in the car, and really wanted to hang out on my lap.

She started getting tired of running errands so she took a little nap.

When I was in the post office she started finding little pieces of my burrito I had eaten for lunch.

For such a little puppy she was already very well behaved.

I think my favorite things about puppies is that they like to bite, but don’t really have strong teeth yet.

I was trying to count MCD shirts and she jumped up on my lap and really didn’t want me to do any work.

I think she was trying to make me think she was asleep, but I could tell she was awake.

She followed me on every trip from my office to the dining room where the shirts were.

She then forced me to lay down and climbed up on my chest.  She would slid farther up onto my chest every time I tried to get up.

Then I had to take her to her new family, and she was very tired from her day.

I also think she wanted to not think about leaving me already, but maybe she didn’t even care as long as she was out of the pound.  Her new family renamed her Coco, so I guess I will someday get to have my own Bacon Deathstar.

This is from a comment below but I thought I would move it up here, so it is more visable.  Julia is one of the nice people who found Coco.

Thanks for posting photos of her, Gabe, & for finding her a good home!

If any of you out there ever find a stray dog (unfortunately there are a lot of them out there) definitely bring them to the Seattle Animal Shelter. Our city is lucky enough to have a top-notch animal shelter that works with local humane societies to make sure every animal finds a good home.  If you’d like to help animals in our community they are always looking for volunteers (walk dogs!) and foster families to temporarily care for dogs and cats.  There are so many homeless animals out there – if you ever want to adopt a pet please go to your local shelter instead of a breeder!  There are lots of dogs like Coco out there…
