I am going to eat Dinner and it will probably be With The Band
Well, NYC is calming down a little bit. We got into town and survived the blizzard.
It was still hard to walk on the side streets.
And I don’t think I would try to drive.
Before heading off for dinner, we got pumped up with this movie about strikes in the coal mine communities. Next time you think you have a hard job, which sometimes I do, remember that you don’t have to ride a belt 2 miles underground at age 10 to earn 6 & a fraction of a cent an hour to sort ore.
I hope this slides thru.
This was the first time that Murder City Devils did any sort of television, and it was such a pleasure. The crew and host were awesome. Wait that is a lie. Not that they were great, but Murder City Devils did some sort of Japanese Television show once. Filmed at the Croc.
Dann doesn’t really believe me, but I am not lying.
Hard to tell but this is a taco truck.
And this is a fire pit. Hey UNION POOL, great job.
After the Union Pool, it was time to go back to Diamond Gabe’s for a little poker. We used almonds as $.25 chips. You could also use quarters or cash. It worked a lot better than the night before, when the blue deck cards were chips. That just got confusing.
