Oh, won’t you take me home tonight…

Good Morning…

Nothing like the first sabering of the year.

Last year, I was in Australia on January 1. New Year’s Day in Summer. Kind of makes sense. Started off with an early morning boogie boarding trip.

Then I wore my pajamas on the airplane, free champagne. I did not try to saber it.

This year, I was home. With Amanda and Bacon.

DJ Waffles and his sidekick were there.

Derek escaped the mental institution and showed up.

Food glorious food.

ChexMix

Derek’s stuffed mushrooms did not last long enough for photos to be taken.

Happy New Year.

See You Next Year

Great way to start the morning… last dump run of 2011. It was a beautiful sunrise on the way to the dump.

Oh wait, I lied, I got a second dump run put together before the end of the year.

If you ever find yourself with 99 cents in your pocket, and needing breakfast, you better hope you are near Ikea.

Amanda and I decided to go out to a fancy New Year’s Eve dinner. Nothing was open on the way to Chad and Nikole’s house, so we ended up at Subway.

Stay classy 2011. I am going to just have one drink!

It’s a long way…

I really did not think that I traveled that much in 2011. I feel like I got to spend a lot of fun times with friends, working on Little Pink Houses, bacon, and most importantly my wife! Looking at these stats, I started to remember going back and forth to Europe three times in three weeks, and the reasons why I got my iPad.

I flew all over this god damn crazy country of ours.

And like I said, went back and forth between here and Europe 3 times in 3 weeks, plus two others. Finally got to the Southern part of the Western Hemisphere. Or was it the Western part of the Southern Hemisphere.

Was out of town 177 days last year. Went to 80 cities, and spent over 10% of those days in Los Angeles / Long Beach / San Pedro. Other than at home, I don’t think there is anywhere I would rather be.

With the end of the world coming, it is time to party.  House is getting ready, hope DJ Waffle makes an appearance again, well I am sure he will.

Bacon is ready, she has tried to kill all her toys in anticipation.

I wonder if the guest author of this Giraffe Joke will be showing up.

He always has great PJs.

Look Kids…

Good Morning…

My parent’s got me a great framed picture of Big Ben for Christmas.  I 100% thought that was what this was. It did not cross my mind that maybe it was a frame, and the photo of Big Ben was just the stock photo included.
